FanHQ Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FanHQ LLC ("FanHQ", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use www.fanhq.live and related services (the "Service"). Read it together with our Terms of Service.
FanHQ is the controller of the personal information described here. The Service is currently an invite-only pilot for users in the United States.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us - Account details: your email address, and your name and profile image if you sign in with Google. - Creator details: display name, handle, channel links, and profile content. For payouts, we or our payout provider collect payment details and tax information (such as a W-9 or W-8). - Communications and feedback: messages you send us, and any feedback or ratings you give about the Service.
Information collected when you use the Service - Participation data: challenges you join, creators you support, offers you click, and offer completions, points, and leaderboard activity. - Tracking data: when you click an offer, we create a unique click identifier. Offer partners send it back to us with details of the completed action, so we can credit the right fan and creator. - Device and technical data: IP address, general location derived from IP (country or region), browser and device type, and timestamps. We use these signals for fraud prevention and store IP-based data in hashed form where practical. - Usage data: pages viewed and actions taken in the Service, used to understand and improve how it works.
Information from third parties - Google, if you choose Google sign-in: name, email address, and profile image. - Offer partners (such as ayeT-Studios and game publishers): confirmation that an offer was completed, reversal notices, and related transaction details.
We do not collect sensitive personal information, such as health data, precise geolocation, or government ID numbers, except tax identifiers that creators provide for payouts.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to: - create and manage your account and sign you in; - track offer clicks and completions, and credit points to fans and earnings to creators; - run challenges, milestones, and leaderboards; - calculate and pay creator earnings, and meet tax and accounting obligations; - detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; - send service emails, such as sign-in links and important account notices; - respond to your requests and feedback; - operate, maintain, test, and improve the Service; - comply with the law and enforce our Terms.
We may create aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer identify you (for example, total completions per offer or per creator) and use or share it for reporting, research, and improving the Service.
Offers on FanHQ are advertisements. Our offer partners and the advertisers behind them use information about you and your device to decide which offers to show you, and to confirm whether you installed or played an advertised game. This is a form of targeted advertising, described in Sections 3 and 8, and you can opt out as described there.
We do not sell your email address or contact details, and we do not use your information to send you third-party marketing emails.
3. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run the Service: - Offer partners and advertisers: to show you offers and credit completions, we share your FanHQ user ID (or a pseudonymous identifier), click identifiers, IP address, general location, device and browser type, and offer activity with offer partners such as ayeT-Studios. These partners, the advertisers whose games they promote, and the measurement companies those advertisers use may combine this with information collected from other apps and websites (including mobile advertising IDs) to select offers for you, measure installs and in-game actions, and prevent fraud. They process this information under their own privacy policies. - Creators: creators see aggregate information about support on their page, and may see your display name or handle on leaderboards. They do not see your email address. - Service providers that process data only on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations, including hosting (Railway), email delivery (Resend), sign-in (Google), and any payment service used to pay creators. - Legal and safety: when required by law or legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and property of FanHQ, our users, or others, including to prevent fraud. - Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to this policy. - With your consent or at your direction.
4. Third-party games, offers, and sites
Offers link to games, apps, offerwalls, and websites we do not own or control. When you use them, the third party collects information under its own privacy policy, not ours. We are not responsible for their practices, so review their policies before sharing information with them.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
FanHQ uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure the Service. When you open an offerwall or click an offer, our offer partners, advertisers, and their measurement providers may use their own cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to track clicks, installs, and in-game actions, and to personalize offers.
On mobile devices, you can limit use of your advertising ID in your device settings ("Allow Apps to Request to Track" on iOS, "Delete advertising ID" on Android). This may affect which offers you see and whether completions can be tracked.
During the pilot, you can opt out of sharing for targeted advertising by email, as described in Section 8. We plan to add support for browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. After you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within 90 days, except where we must keep it longer: - Payouts, tax, and accounting records: typically up to 7 years; - Fraud prevention: limited records needed to stop repeat abuse; - Legal claims: until a dispute or potential claim is resolved.
Information in backups is deleted on our normal backup cycle and is not used in the meantime.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and hashing of certain identifiers. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your privacy rights
Everyone can: - ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you; - ask us to correct inaccurate information; - ask us to delete your account and personal information, subject to the retention exceptions above; - unsubscribe from any marketing emails using the link in each email. Essential service emails, such as sign-in links, continue while you have an account.
Additional U.S. state rights. Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, and Washington), you may also have the right to data portability, to opt out of sales, sharing for targeted advertising, and profiling, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
Opting out of targeted advertising. You can opt out at any time by emailing privacy@fanhq.live with the subject line "Opt Out." When you opt out, we will stop sharing your personal information with offer partners for targeted advertising. Because offers depend on tracking to confirm completions, opting out may limit the offers available to you or prevent completions from being credited. Opting out does not affect points and earnings already approved.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland. If these laws apply to you, you may also restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing), and complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal bases are: - Contract: accounts, points, challenges, creator earnings, and payouts; - Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, security, service emails, responding to requests, and improving the Service; - Consent (targeted offers): where the law requires it, we or our offer partners ask for your consent before using cookies or device identifiers to personalize and track offers; - Legal obligation: tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests; - Consent: any non-essential cookies or marketing emails, if we introduce them.
How to make a request. Email privacy@fanhq.live with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity, usually by confirming control of the email address on your account, and respond within the time required by law (generally 30 to 45 days).
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to make a request where the law allows. We will require signed permission from you and may ask you to verify your identity directly with us.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing privacy@fanhq.live with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within the time required by law. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
9. California disclosures
In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email address, IP address, and account ID); commercial information (such as offer completions, points, and earnings); internet or network activity (such as clicks and pages viewed in the Service); general geolocation derived from IP address; and, for creators, financial and tax information needed for payouts.
We collect this information from you, automatically when you use the Service, and from Google and offer partners, for the purposes described in Section 2. We disclose it only to the categories of recipients in Section 3, for business purposes.
Sharing for targeted advertising. In the past 12 months, we have shared these categories of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, with offer partners and advertising and measurement providers: identifiers (such as user ID, IP address, and device identifiers); internet or network activity (such as offer clicks and completions); commercial information (such as offer completions); and general geolocation. You can opt out as described in Section 8.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
California residents may also request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
FanHQ is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the U.S. and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or recipients certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect, and we will update the "Last updated" date.
